Redwood Valley, a subregion of Mendocino, is located inland and provides a balance between warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights, which helps Chardonnay develop rich fruit flavors while maintaining good acidity. The loamy soils in the region contribute to the depth and complexity, enhancing this wine’s structure and minerality. Aged eight months in one year-old French oak. Sur lie aged with traditional bâtonnage, with lees stirring twice monthly.
