Gnarled and weathered, these zinfandel vines from Lodi were planted decades ago in head-trained rows, yet still produce grapes that are complex and concentrated. This single vineyard Old Vine Zinfandel is a testament

to the pioneers who planted them, all those years ago.

Aromas of exotic spices, black Doris plum and berry preserves greet the senses, with a subtle hint of chocolate mousse adding depth to the bouquet. Concentrated jammy sweetness creates a wine that is bold and expansive on the palate, revealing notes of forest berries, red currant and pipe tobacco. Assertive yet balanced tannins contribute to its structure and finesse, while black pepper provides an additional layer of complexity on the finish.
