Earthy, brambly, and rich, this brick-red Cabernet Franc embodies the brooding Sierra Nevada foothill terrain where it was grown. Notes of dusty leather and coffee lead the aromatics, while hints of crushed herbs and baked berry pie round out the full-bodied structure. Oak aging created a complex finish of chocolate covered cherry and mocha.
Oak: Aged in neutral American oak for 19 months, then finished with French oak for 3 months for additional complexity.
